"I struggled with breastfeeding for eight weeks with my first bub but was completely determined to work through it. I contacted Sue for help and she turned everything around! I went on to breastfeed for 14 months and loved it. I've recently had my second daughter and this time I got Sue in right away and it's been smooth sailing since then. I highly recommend her to you! She's lovely, knowledgeable and well-read on the topic. She's a resource that every new mum should have in their little black book!"
"Sue was an enormous support when I had my first child in 2005. Her calm manner combined with her enthusiasm made me persevere in breast feeding. Her visits left me feeling connected to my baby boy. When I had a caesarian with my second child I was concerned that my milk would not come in. Again Sue came to the rescue, through her knowledge and experience I had an excellent plan which not only reassured me before the operation but was very successful, and had a wonderful experience breast feeding my baby girl. Thank you Sue for all your wisdom and enthusiasm. I could not have done it without you."
"I had no idea how difficult breast feeding can be and wish I had researched this before having my baby boy. After already seeking help I received very conflicting information and advice, I was feeling very confused and deflated but didn't want to give up. I didn't see Sue until about 3 weeks after the birth, at that time I was only producing half the milk my baby needed and was in a great deal of pain and emotionally drained, Sue was also able to tell me I had mastitis.
Sue has a very calming nature and gave great positive reinforcement, she assisted in better attachment, as well as methods to increase my milk supply, all of which worked and gave me a glimmer of hope. I slowly started seeing small improvements over the days and weeks but still had days of where the pain got to me and I wanted to give up again. Sue didn't just help when she met with me but also she gave me ongoing support via calls and texts, with more encouragement and further methods as time progressed. She was amazing and I felt this went way beyond just being a consultant. I can honestly say I would never have been able to continue without her help, support and many different methods and ideas. It took me over 6 weeks to be able to exclusively breastfeed my baby and to not be in any pain and I now thank myself everyday that I didn't give up, my baby is now over 5 months."
"In a culture that fears and distorts the birthing process, your calming and assuring expertise brought us 'down to earth': Thanks to you our beautiful daughter entered this world in the most natural and peaceful way. She was held securely, pleasurably connected at the breast, and your skills and craft have contributed greatly to what a healthy, glowing and confident teenager she is today. Sue: a million thanks!"
“I first met the beautiful Sue Williamson when my daughter was 6 weeks old and I was having much trouble with feeding problems and low milk supply which many other practitioners dismissed. Sue came highly recommended from friends that had either met her or heard how wonderful she was.
And wonderful she is, from the first time she came into our life, she has been informative, helpful, supportive and is now a dear and precious friend… I would recommend Sue to anyone having a baby. Sue is essential whether you are having problems or not.”
