Postnatal Home Visits
Sue offers a personal & private service in the comfort of your own home. She will review medical history, examine you and your baby, talk about your concerns and assist you with positioning baby at the breast as well as weigh your Baby.
At the conclusion of the visit, you will be given detailed instructions and recommendations to facilitate your breastfeeding success. Telephone follow-up is encouraged and a letter will be provided to your health care provider(s) to include him/her in you and your baby’s plan of care as needed. Receipts provided for you health insurance place for rebates.
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class (4-6 weeks before Birth)
The early post partum period is a sensitive time which is why Sue offers a prenatal breastfeeding class. Sue will let you know what you can expect from your first few weeks of breastfeeding and will facilitate a smooth transition into breastfeeding which will help you to avoid common problems that can occur in the early weeks. Family members are encouraged to attend.
